Transit Windsor specialized transit service encompasses a range of service delivery options designed to meet the needs of citizens of Windsor.
Detroit Free Press Marathon, Sunday, October 19, 2025
Shuttle buses will begin going to Detroit at 5:15 a.m. and leaving on demand with the last bus departing at 6:45 a.m. sharp. All shuttle buses will be leaving from the west side of the Windsor International Transit Terminal, 300 Chatham Street West.
Exact fare is $10.00 each way on the bus, and operators do not give change. Customer Service will be open at 5:00 a.m. to sell ride cards. One-way ride cards are available for $10.00, with two-way trip cards available for $20.00. The two-way trip cards are highly recommended to avoid any issues regarding the return trip. All purchases are treated as Canadian funds. These cards can be purchased ahead of time at the Windsor International Transit Terminal.
We will have four (4) trips back to Canada. These buses will be departing from the Old Mariners' Church (on tunnel property) at 12:45, 1:45, 2:45 and 3:45 p.m. There will be no further service after the 3:45 p.m. bus. Passengers will have to find alternate means of getting back to Canada.
After clearing Canadian customs, patrons have the option of walking from there or re-boarding the bus and returning to the Windsor International Transit Terminal.
Reminder: Last bus is 3:45 p.m. sharp from Mariners' Church!
