How Do I Apply?
Permission to Encroach
To request permission to encroach on public property, you must complete the required forms outlined below, complete with a drawing of the encroaching items and submit all application fees. All forms can be picked up from the Right-of-Way Division of the Engineering Department on the 2nd floor of 350 City Hall Square West or downloaded by clicking on the links below.
Minor Encroachment Forms
(Please check the Types of Encroachments page to confirm that all items are considered minor in nature.)
Major Residential and Partially Exempt Organization Forms
Non-Residential Encroachment Forms
Please Note: A drawing illustrating the dimensions and location of the encroachment(s) in relation to the property lines is required and must be submitted with your application. Include any other relevant features, such as sidewalks, curbs, driveways, streetscaping items, trees and poles in the drawing.
