Ready Set Prepare

Words, Ready Set Prepare 2022, Emergency Preparedness Event with City of Windsor and Emergency Management Windsor logos

On Saturday, October 15, 2022, the City of Windsor in partnership with Emergency Management Windsor through Windsor Fire and Rescue Services will be hosting a public event to promote climate change adaptation and emergency preparedness.

Ready, Set, Prepare will be held at the Safety Village, located at 7911 Forest Glade Drive. The event is open to the public between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Meet your neighbourhood emergency responders, gain knowledge on local climate hazards, and learn how to prepare for emergencies. Fun games and activities for the whole family!

Some of the partner organizations that will be in attendance include:

First Responders (i.e. police, fire, emergency medical services [EMS])
Windsor-Essex County Health Unit
Utility Companies (i.e. ENWIN, Enbridge)
Various City of Windsor departments
