Local Road Speed Hump Survey Results
Roads that qualify for speed humps move on to the speed hump residential survey stage. This stage surveys a study area based on the location of concern to confirm neighborhood support for traffic calming speed humps.
Local roads that have passed the warrant review are required to meet the following threshold in order to move forward:
- A – A minimum of 50% of the household and commercial properties must respond within the polling area, and from this 60% must indicate their support for the traffic calming speed hump.
Local roads that did not pass the traffic calming reviews throughout the process are required to meet the following threshold in order to move forward:
- B – A minimum of 50% of the households and commercial properties must indicate their support for the traffic calming speed hump.
