School Camp Program at the Chimczuk Museum

Tours of the Historic Duff-Bâby House 

Location: Duff-Bâby House, 221 Mill Street
Date: September 12, 2026
Time: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Free admission

Visit the historic Duff-Bâby House following an extensive renovation. The Duff-Bâby House was built in 1798 and is named for its first two owners, Alexander Duff and James Baby. It is recognized among the most significant late eighteenth-century landmarks in Upper Canada. Free event, open to the public.

Downtown Walking Tour

Location: Duff-Bâby Interpretation Centre, 221 Mill Street
Date: September 19, 2026
Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Admission: $10 — advance registration required

Presented in conjunction with the new Buildings That Still Are exhibition, this walking tour will explore Downtown Windsor and highlight some of the historic buildings that have survived to the modern era. 

Tickets cost $10 per person and advance registration is required. Space is limited; call the museum at 519-253-18122 or visit the Chimczuk Museum at 401 Riverside Drive West to purchase tickets.

Museum Volunteer Group Speaker Series 

Location: Chimczuk Museum, 401 Riverside Drive West

Join the Museum Volunteer Group at 1 p.m. for our monthly speaker series. This month, recent University of Windsor Botsford Scholar Sean Amyot will be presenting a talk entitled “Many Hands on the Line: Immigration and Cultural Development in Ford City Between 1904–1945.” 

Free Admission: Orange Shirt Day 

Location: Chimczuk Museum, 401 Riverside Drive West

Enjoy free admission to the Chimczuk Museum and Art Windsor-Essex in honour of Orange Shirt Day (National Day for Truth and Reconciliation). This is a great opportunity to visit the Original Peoples Culture and Legacy Gallery located inside the Chimczuk Museum and learn about local Indigenous history. 

Streetcar No. 351 Fall Hours 

Location: Legacy Beacon, 780 Riverside Drive West
Date: September 8 to October 31, 2026
Time: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Free admission

Streetcar No. 351 will be shifting to fall hours following Labour Day.

  • Fall hours (following Labour Day): Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed Monday through Friday, including statutory holidays. 

Dungeons and Dragons (LEGO) Scavenger Hunt

Location: François Baby House, 254 Pitt Street West
Date: Ongoing
Time: Regular hours of operation
Free admission

The Heroes of Baldur's Gate have arrived at the François Baby House, as magic has brought a large party of Dungeons & Dragons LEGO Minifigures to the museum’s galleries. Visitors of all ages are invited to gain some experience points (XP) and discover historic treasures as they explore this National Historic Site of Canada by participating in this fun dungeon-crawling scavenger hunt.
