Biosolids Management Strategy

The City of Windsor is undertaking the Class Environmental Assessment (EA) process to develop a long-term biosolids management plan for the two municipal wastewater treatment plants. This Class EA will review and identify the opportunity of co-processing biosolids and source separated organics (SSO). The key elements of the study include identifying and evaluating options for processing biosolids and SSO that can generate renewable energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
