City of Windsor 2025 Public Salary Disclosure (for 2024 compensation)

Published

In accordance with the Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act (PSSDA), the City of Windsor is releasing the salaries and benefits paid to municipal employees who earned $100,000 or more as reported on their 2024 Canada Revenue Agency T4 slip. The PSSDA was introduced in 1996 based on an earnings threshold of $100,000 as established at that time. This threshold has not been amended or adjusted for inflation in the past 28 years.

The Ontario Public Sector Salary Disclosure data reports amounts paid to those employees who earned more than $100,000 as salary and as taxable benefits, in addition to any one-time payments made in 2024 that do not form part of the normal and regularized ongoing base salary of employees. This can include but is not limited to such items as acting pay, overtime, retroactive payments, adjustments required by pay equity legislation, and/or other related payroll requirements.

The Corporation of the City of Windsor is a municipal organization with current annual budgets in excess of $1 billion in gross operating expenditures and $2.2 billion in total capital expenditures as outlined in our 10-year capital plan and currently employs approximately 4,000 staff.

Please note: PSSDA data is available on the Province’s website.
