On Monday, October 22, 2018, voters in the City of Windsor will elect a Mayor, Ward Councillors and School Board Trustees to represent them for the term of office beginning December 1, 2018 and ending November 14, 2022. Under the Municipal Elections Act, the term of office is 4 years for all offices. You must be an eligible elector in order to vote in the municipality on Voting Day. More voter information is contained on this site regarding proxy voting, accessibility, where your voting station is located, and the voters' list. If your name is not on the Official City of Windsor voters' list or your information needs to be amended you may do so beginning Tuesday, September 4, 2018.

Changes to the Municipal Elections Act
Bill 181, The Municipal Elections Modernization Act, 2016, came into effect June 9, 2016 and makes changes to the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 for the 2018 municipal election.
