Windsor-Essex County Health Unit

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU), in partnership with other agencies and health care providers, seeks to enable all Windsor and Essex County residents to be as healthy as possible.

Public health programs keep our community healthy by promoting improved health, preventing disease and injury, controlling threats to human life and function, and facilitating social conditions to ensure equal opportunity in attaining health for all.

Home and Community Care Support Services

Erie St. Clair Local Home and Community Care Support Services is one of 14 services in Ontario. Home and Community Care Support Services organizations, formerly Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs), work with physicians, hospital teams and other health care providers to enhance access and coordination for people who need care in their own homes in the community, in supportive housing, or in a long-term care home.

Home and Community Care Support Services are community-based, non-profit organizations funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
