The Property Standards Committee was established under the Building Code Act to hear appeals that have been filed by property owners with respect to property standards Orders to Repair issued by the City's Property Standards Officer.

Hearings are held in a quasi-judicial setting. Meetings of the Property Standards Committee are scheduled following the receipt of a Notice of Appeal from an appellant. See meeting dates.

Committee Structure:

  • 5 community-at-large members appointed by City Council
  • Appointments are for a 4 year term
