Cabana Road West from Mount Carmel Drive to Highway 3 will be under construction for a new storm sewer and isolated sanitary sewer replacements. Road widening to four lanes plus on-road bike lanes with buffer zone, including curb and gutter, sidewalks and street lighting from Dominion Bulevard to Highway 3. Traffic may be intermittently restricted to one lane during the day with flag persons on site. The construction is anticipated to be completed before the end of 2023, weather permitting.
Cabana Road West will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Glenwood Avenue and Charlevoix Avenue as part of Phase 4 of the Cabana Road Corridor Improvements. No left turns will be permitted. Flagging may occur during the construction as needed.
Geraedts Drive, the north side entrance to St. Clair College from Cabana Road, will be closed during road and sewer construction as part of Cabana Road Improvement project - Phase 4. From Monday, May 22, 2023 until the end of June 2023.
All access to the St. Calir College site will be from the Highway 3 entrance during this time. Access to the Sport Plex will be maintained during this time of closure, but access to Lot V will not be available due to the closure of Geraedts Drive.
Please follow the detour signage and drive safely.
