Age Friendly Windsor Working Group

(formerly the Seniors Advisory Committee)

Who We Are:

The Age Friendly Windsor Working Group will consist of 8 members, including six community members and two City administration.

The working group will work in partnership with City administration across relevant City departments that undertake work that might include or align with age-friendliness.

Upcoming Event:

June marks a special time in our community as we come together to honour the wisdom, resilience, and contributions of our seniors. This month, across the province, we pause to recognize the countless ways seniors enrich our families, neighbourhoods, and civic life.

To commemorate this important celebration, a flag‑raising ceremony will be held at City Hall Square on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., bringing residents, community leaders, and local organizations together in a shared moment of pride. Attendees will also be able to peruse some information booths that support accessibility and recreation opportunities for older adults. This event is open to all members of the public.
