Free Transit Windsor Fireworks Shuttle: June 22, 2026
Enjoy the fireworks without worrying about parking or traffic. Transit Windsor is offering free bus service on fireworks night, thanks to the continued generosity of Zehrs® Markets (Zehrs®).
For the 16th year, Zehrs® continues to demonstrate strong community commitment by sponsoring free transit service across Windsor‑Essex so residents and visitors can safely and conveniently attend the annual Ford Fireworks celebration on Monday, June 22, 2026.
Free Transit Service Details
- All City Buses: Free service begins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, and continues until the end of the service day.
- Fireworks Shuttle to Devonshire Mall: Dedicated shuttle buses will operate from Devonshire Mall located at 3100 Howard Avenue.
- Pickup location: Sydney Avenue at Devonshire Mall, 3100 Howard Avenue
- Shuttle buses begin loading at 6:00 p.m.
- Shuttle service runs until 9:30 p.m.
Return Shuttle Service
- Return trips begin immediately following the fireworks.
- Service continues until approximately 12:15 a.m., or until all waiting passengers have boarded for their return to Devonshire Mall.

Stuff-a-Bus Community Events Leading Up to Fireworks Night
In the weeks leading up to the Ford Fireworks in Windsor‑Essex, Transit Windsor is partnering with Zehrs® Markets and UHC – Hub of Opportunities to host a series of Stuff-a-Bus community events.
Residents are encouraged to visit a participating Zehrs® location, see a Transit Windsor bus on site, and help “stuff-a-bus” with donations in support of community needs.
