MyBenefits is an online service for social service recipients from the Government of Ontario. MyBenefits makes it faster, easier and more convenient to access your information securely on any device.

You can sign into MyBenefits at to view or update your Ontario Works (OW) or Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) case information. This service is available 24/7 for Ontario Works and ODSP recipients

With MyBenefits you can:

  • Check the status of a payment, view a breakdown and status of each payment, including any overpayment information
  • View letters
  • View profile information (e.g. phone number, email, household members)
  • Report earned income against an existing employer on file and track the status of each submission
  • Report address and phone number changes
  • Show their proof of assistance to third party providers

  1. Register in a few easy steps: Click on “register."
  2. Read and agree to the terms of use.
  3. Enter member identification number and primary email on file in Social Assistance Management System (SAMS).
  4. Check email and click on verification link (within 30 minutes).
  5. Enter date of birth.
  6. Set up username and password (create your own login or use your online banking login).
  7. Use the service regularly: it’s great for reading letters, checking payment details and reporting income or an address change.
  8. Send feedback: clients can use the feedback link in MyBenefits (at the top of every page) to tell us what they think.

My Ontario Login: this option allows you to use your email and a password that you create specifically for MyBenefits and potentially other Ontario government services in the future

Sign in partner login: this option allows you to use your online banking username and password.
