Ditch and Drain Maintenance

• The City of Windsor maintains approximately 239 kilometres (149 miles) of roadside ditches and 121 kilometres (76 miles) of municipal drains. 
• Public Works maintains municipal drains and roadside ditches to support drainage and water flow. Maintenance activities are carried out as needed to address drainage and operational concerns. 
• The City of Windsor Parks Department addresses sightline concerns related to municipal drains and roadside ditches at intersections to help maintain visibility and public safety.
• To report a blockage, drainage concern, or sightline issue involving a municipal ditch or drain, please contact 311.
