2024 Windsor Archaeological Management Plan (new)

The Windsor Archaeological Management Plan (WAMP) review is now complete and is scheduled to be presented at the Development and Heritage Standing Committee meeting on June 3, 2024, and at a Council meeting at a later date. The 2024 WAMP documents will be presented alongside the accompanying Official Plan amendment documents.

The purpose of the Official Plan amendment is to enable implementation of the updated Windsor Archaeological Management Plan for identification and conservation of archaeological resources. The amendments are proposed in Volume I, chapters 9 to 11, of the Official Plan, to Schedule C-1 Archaeological Potential and reference to it throughout Volume I and Volume II.
