Derwent Park

Description of Image

7911 Forest Glade Drive

Situated behind College Boreal, Derwent Park is a Community Park that since 1972 has continued to transform. Derwent Park includes the 16.3-acre Shaughnessy Cohen Woods that straddles the Little River. In 2000, the Rotary Club of Windsor 1918 developed The Safety Village on the western grounds of the park along Lauzon Parkway.

Derwent Park is currently home to 650 metres of gravel and natural trails that run through the park and the Shaughnessy Cohen Woods. Combined, the woodlot, trail and open space cover approximately 32 acres in total.
