School Camp Program at the Chimczuk Museum

Museum Windsor plays a key role in many events, projects, initiatives and celebrations in Windsor's culture and heritage community. We actively engage in finding unique ways to help the community tell its stories. 

Free Admission — AWE Art For All Sale

In conjunction with Art Windsor-Essex (AWE), which is featuring Art for All: The 2025 Art Sale, the Chimczuk Museum is inviting all holiday shoppers to give the gift of Windsor-Essex history. Visit Museum Windsor’s gift shop and bring the past home! The gift shop features a wide array of historical books, locally made art, jewellery, candles, children’s toys, postcards, memberships and much more.

  • A scavenger hunt, holiday-themed crafts in our Children’s Gallery and our annual “Jack Frost Gets Lost” search-and-find activity. 

New Display — Santa Claus Collection by Leisha Nazarewich 

Location: François Baby House, 254 Pitt Street West
Date: Ongoing

The late Leisha Nazarewich, a long-time and much-valued Museum Volunteer Group member, was an avid Santa Claus collector. Highlights from her extensive Santa Claus collection, representing numerous cultural traditions and eras, were generously donated to Museum Windsor. 

To accompany this exhibit, we are inviting visitors to make a historical jointed Santa paper puppet, complete with a sheep’s wool beard! Free admission.

Animal Mini-Figure (Lego) Scavenger Hunt

Location: François Baby House, 254 Pitt Street West

Animal Lego friends are visiting the François Baby House. Can you find them and the artifacts they are discovering? Small prize for those adventurers who finish the hunt! Free event, open to the public.
