Live at The Square Returns for 2026!

Live at The Square returns to City Hall Square this September for four evenings of free live music in the heart of downtown Windsor! 

With generous support from Enbridge Fueling Futures, the City of Windsor is pleased to bring the popular concert series back for 2026.

Each evening will showcase local talent and bring music, culture and community to City Hall Square. Residents and visitors are invited to stop by, enjoy a free performance and experience downtown Windsor’s civic gathering space.

Live at The Square celebrates the richness and creativity of Windsor-Essex’s music scene, with a focus on supporting local performers and creating inclusive, accessible opportunities for the community to come together.

The series also supports the goals of the Strengthen the Core: Downtown Windsor Revitalization Plan by contributing to place-making and creating a vibrant downtown that attracts residents, visitors, businesses and investment.

When and Where

Live performances take place on Thursday evenings, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., from September 10 to October 1, 2026, with two-hour sets at City Hall Square Plaza.

Weather Policy

Live at The Square is an outdoor event and is subject to weather conditions. In the event of rain or severe weather, performances may be cancelled for the safety of performers, staff and attendees.

Any cancellations or event updates will be shared through the City of Windsor's website and social media channels.
