Have you seen rats on your property, in your neighbourhood or alleyway? If so, call The City of Windsor at 311 for the Rodent Extermination Program (residential properties only).
How the program works:
Effective April 3, 2017, there is no longer a fee for the City of Windsor's residential rodent baiting service. This service provides a maximum of 6 baiting sessions per residential address.
You must clean up all debris in your yard.
An inspector will come out to your property, and you will be required to sign a release form, which allows entry on your property and baiting.
Once it has been determined that rats or rat burrows are present on your property, the City's pest extermination contractor will then begin the baiting process.
The contractor will re-inspect and re-bait up to five times per session to eliminate the rat colony.
Please Note: Rat bait is poisonous. It is your responsibility to monitor the baited areas to keep your children and pets safe.
