June Recreation and Parks Month

June is Recreation and Parks Month logo

Join the City of Windsor in celebrating June is Recreation and Parks Month (JRPM) as we promote the benefits of healthy active living and encourage everyone to Run. Jump. Play. Every Day! In collaboration with Windsor-Essex Communities in motion and the Healthy Kids Community Challenge, the City of Windsor will be offering a number of free activities and great giveaways throughout June to celebrate June is Recreation and Parks Month.

Visit the City of Windsor's Community Events Calendar powered by snapd Windsor to find out more about all of the great events happening in June and follow us all on Twitter and Facebook as we highlight a different outdoor space each day.

Kids (17 and under), don't forget to pick up your JRPM Passport at your local community centre for your chance to win a new bike courtesy of Canadian Tire and Windsor-Essex Communities in motion. It's real easy to participate. All your have to do is the following:

Step 1 - Starting June 6th - Go to your local community centre and pick up a JRPM Passport

Step 2 - Complete all of the activities on your JRPM Passport

Step 3 - Have a parent/guardian sign your completed JRPM Passport

Step 4 - Return your JRPM Passport by June 27th to your local community centre for your chance to win!
