The Museum Group

The Museum Group is the volunteer base for the various special events and activities that are organized and run by Windsor's Community Museum. Volunteer members, in cooperation with Museum staff, plan and implement these programs and public activities; staff off-site displays; receive a newsletter; and much, much more!

The Museum Volunteer Group (MVG) meets the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Duff-Baby Interpretation Centre, 221 Mill Street unless otherwise noted. Meetings feature speakers on various topics and are followed by refreshments and a brief business meeting. All are welcome.

MVG annual membership fees are $15.00 for adults and students. Please note that the yearly membership fee is due in February.

Upcoming Meetings

There are currently no meetings scheduled for 2021.

Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for volunteers to staff the front desk at the Maison François Baby House, as well as an information desk at the Chimczuk Museum. All we require is that you volunteer for two three-hour shifts a month. Do you like meeting and greeting people? If so, we would love to have you at the museum. Call (519) 253-1812 for details.
