Business Licensing By-law 395-2004, Schedule H2 (see By-laws Online)
Applicant Requirements:
- Application for Heating Contractor
- Application for Heating Master
- Business Ownership Declaration, if applicable
- Two (2) pieces of government-issued identification including one photo I.D. as well as one I.D. demonstrating proof of status in Canada (e.g. birth certificate, Canadian passport, Canadian citizenship card, permanent resident card, work permit, etc.)
- Certificate of Incorporation, if applicable
- Master Business Licence, if applicable
- Certificate of Qualification - Class 'A' (Gas Fitter), if applicable
- Colleges of Trades membership card - Class 'B' (Steamfitter) or Class 'C' (Sheet Metal Worker), if applicable
- Police Records Check - New Master only, original, not more than 30 days old
- Commercial General Liability Insurance policy ($2,000,000 minimum)
