Can-Am Golf Series “Is-a-Go” for 2020 - Sold Out!

While COVID-19 has resulted in numerous event cancellations this year, one event that will go on is the 2020 Can-Am Golf Series fundraiser supporting the 2022 Police-Fire Games. The event will be held on Friday, September 25 at Roseland Golf & Curling Club. 

This year’s event will follow the Ontario Golf regulations according to the province and ensure safety measures and social distancing will be in place throughout the day and while socializing.  

Registration includes:

  • 18 holes of golf
  • Single cart access
  • Scheduled tee off times
  • Breakfast, lunch and a dinner gift card
  • Guns N’ Hoses Patio Reception
  • Contests, prizes, player gift bag

Fire Truck Ball Drop fundraiser is back and will be showcased via live stream at 5 p.m.!

Rules of play

Here are the basic rules that will be followed:

  • The format for the Can-Am Golf Tournament will be a “Scramble."
    • All team members tee off each hole.
    • Team chooses the shot that gives them the best opportunity.
    • This process continues up until the ball is on the putting green, and all four players have the opportunity to sink the putt.
    • Each team member’s tee shot must be used at least three times per round and identified on the scorecard.

2022 Police Fire Games Windsor-Essex

The City of Windsor will proudly host the Can-Am Police-Fire Games from July 25 to 31, 2022. The Police-Fire Games is a biennial, multi-sport competition that has been hosted by cities across North America. It includes six days of competitive events, ranging from traditional to participant–specific sports like SWAT competitions and the Toughest Firefighter Alive. To assist in raising the funds required to host the 2022 Games, the organizing committee and the City of Windsor will host an annual fundraising Can-Am Golf Series over the next four years.
