Service to Detroit

Transit Windsor is providing shuttle service to the National Football League (NFL) Draft festivities taking place in Detroit, Michigan, from April 25 to 27, 2024.

Reservations are required to board the NFL Draft Shuttle bus. In-person walk-ups will not be accepted.

The NFL Draft Shuttle bus will depart Windsor International Transit Terminal (WITT), 300 Chatham Street West, as follows:

• Thursday, April 25, and Friday, April 26
  9:00 a.m. and every 60 minutes until 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday, April 27
  8:00 a.m. and every 60 minutes until 2:00 p.m.

Reserve Your Spot:

• Click to make your reservation for the NFL Draft Shuttle. The fare is $20 per person for a round-trip ticket.

Important Information:

• After you have successfully paid, you will receive a confirmation email containing a QR code to check in on the day of the event.
• Passengers are asked to arrive at WITT thirty (30) minutes before your reserved time.
• Proceed to a customer service clerk and present your QR code. You'll be given a pass to use on the bus for boarding in Windsor and when returning from Detroit. One ticket is issued per person.
• Return transportation is included in the fare and does not require a reserved time. 
• Return service pick-up will occur at the Transit Windsor bus shelter located within the Detroit/Windsor Tunnel toll complex behind Mariner's Church.

Return transportation is as follows:

• Thursday, April 25, and Friday, April 26
  Passengers may board any returning bus until 1:30 a.m.
  No bus services returning to Canada will be available beyond 1:30 a.m.
• Saturday, April 27
  Passengers may board any bus returning from Detroit until 9:30 p.m.
  No Transit Windsor bus service returning to Canada will be available beyond 9:30 p.m.

Refund Information:

1. Refunds will only be provided to those who cancel an existing reservation before the departure time of their reservation.
2. Once the reservation time has elapsed, no refunds will be issued for any reason.
3. Refunds will be provided if Transit Windsor cancels an event for low seating demand.

There will be no regular Tunnel Bus or Special Event Bus service during the NFL Draft.

Transit Windsor operates two different services to Detroit, Michigan.

Tunnel Bus

The Tunnel Bus operates a short route through downtown Detroit, seven days a week. This service does not provide transportation to sporting events or concerts due to limited capacity. There will be no regular Tunnel Bus service during the NFL Draft, from April 25 to 27, 2024.

Special Event Bus

The Special Event Bus Service provides service to select sporting events and concerts in downtown Detroit. Reservations are required to use the special event bus. There will be no Special Event Bus service during the NFL Draft, from April 25 to 27, 2024.
