Recreation Swimming

Recreation Swimming (rec swim) is offered at City of Windsor pools to all ages. Locations vary throughout the seasons. In pools with a deep end, the area will be designated with a lane rope to signify a change in depth. During rec swim, pool noodles, inflatable balls, life jackets and dive rings will be available (amenities differ from pool to pool). Water features will be active during rec swim, if available.

Swimmers interested in aquatic programming can attend one of the City's other indoor pools: the Gino and Liz Marcus Community and Customer Care Complex, Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre, or the WFCU Centre. 

Some City pools feature splash pad features and wade pools, and these will be available during rec swims. Please note: outdoor pools are only open during the Summer.
