Fares and Passes
Transit Windsor no longer accepts paper tickets as payment to board Transit Windsor buses.
- This transition reflects a broader move towards modernizing public transportation, enhancing efficiency, and reducing environmental impact. Commuters will need to adapt by using smart cards, which promises to streamline the boarding process. This shift not only aligns with global sustainability goals by minimizing paper waste but also offers enhanced security and tracking capabilities, ensuring a more seamless travel experience.
