Active Transportation Master Plan
The City of Windsor adopted the Active Transportation Master Plan (ATMP) in 2019, symbolizing the City's commitment to develop a visible and connected cycling network that is easily accessible, safe and actively used by all types of cyclists. The Active Transportation Master Plan, Walk Wheel Windsor, provides a vision along with policies and actions to guide the development of a well-connected and attractive active transportation network over the next 20 years that is safe, convenient and user-friendly for people of all ages and abilities and all modes of active transportation. Map and Guide of Parks, Trails and Leisure Facilities
- The City of Windsor has created a map showing parklands, community centres, pools, ice rinks, special event areas, boat launches, bike lanes and multi-use trails.
- A free copy of this map can be obtained in a number of City locations, including community and customer care centres, or download the Parks, Trails & Recreation Map and info for complete details on trails and recreation facilities in the community.
Parks and Recreation is responsible for multi-use trails within parks, and Public Works looks after on-road trails. Learn more about how trails assist in the development of our Environmental Master Plan within the City of Windsor.

Bicycle Registry
Windsor Police Service has created a bicycle registration to help protect bicycles owned by residents of Windsor and the surrounding area, especially citizens that commute to Windsor by bicycle. This program will increase the chances of having your bicycle returned to you if it is lost or stolen.
