Goose Bay

Named for the presence of migrating geese that rest in its protective cove, Goose Bay Park is a quiet, tranquil stretch of waterfront parkland away from the urban bustle. Overlooking the Detroit River along Riverside Drive East, the grassy, two‑acre site was originally designed in 1974 as a passive park for the public's enjoyment. Later, a rock wall was included in an effort to increase fish habitat in the area.
