Volunteers and Employment

Volunteering at Huron Lodge

Huron Lodge provides many opportunities for members of the community to volunteer their time. We recruit new volunteers year round, so if you have the time and interest, please consider choosing Huron Lodge. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities to support our residents and our home.

It’s easy to get started. Download our volunteer application form and then contact our volunteer coordinator to make an appointment. Prior to starting your volunteer placement, all volunteers must have a vulnerable sector police records check, as well as a two-step TB skin test. For volunteers under 18 years of age, you will need a parental consent form and a fit-for-volunteering note from your doctor. Once the required documentation is complete, you will then complete a volunteer orientation and training process.

If volunteering at Huron Lodge interests you, please contact:

*Check your local police department’s website for requirements, cost and instructions on how to begin the process of requesting a vulnerable sector police clearance.*
