By-law Enforcement is responsible for ensuring compliance with both the City's Regulatory and Licensing By-laws.

The staff in By-law Enforcement respond to complaints relating to violations of City by-laws including but not limited to:

  • Yard maintenance
  • Garbage and debris
  • Collection of refuse
  • Licensing
  • Dog control
  • Noise
  • Snow removal
  • Keeping of animals
  • Fence
