Pathway to Potential Funded Programs

Be Back Soon

In 2019, staff from Be Back Soon presented to City of Windsor's Community Services and Parks Standing Committee about the impact their P2P funded program is having on its clients. As part of their presentation to standing committee, an impact video of Yasmin was shown detailing her experience using the Be Back Soon program at Connections and how it benefited her while she was in post-graduate school and her daughter.

In 2020, Pathways to Prosperity Canada, with funding by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), released a series of promising practices in settlement and integration that showed empirical evidence for their effectiveness. Be Back Soon's model of providing free, short-term, unlicensed child care was identified as a promising practice. Please take a moment to watch Samar, a mother who moved to Canada in 2019, as she shares her experience with the Be Back Soon program and staff at Connections and how they have supported her family.
