Beacons
Five pavilions called beacons will be located throughout the 6 kilometres of parkland between Langlois Avenue and California Avenue, creating the Central Riverfront's primary orientation system and identity feature. These public destinations and landmarks along the Detroit River will explore themes that provoke contemplation of time, while also providing amenities including washrooms, concessions, information, and shelter.
