Operations Of The Committee

The Committee shall meet every third Thursday to consider applications for site plan approval. Preliminary discussion meetings shall be held prior to the Committee meeting.

The Committee shall discuss the details of each application listed on the agenda, hear from the applicant and/or agent and make comments/requirements to be considered on the application.

In making a recommendation, the Site Plan Approval Officer may:

  • Approve the application as presented, approve the application with revisions, or attach conditions to the approval
  • Refuse the application
  • Defer the application for consideration at a subsequent meeting of the Committee

The report of the Site Plan Approval Officer, including recommendations, shall be forwarded to the Delegated Official for consideration in reviewing the application for site plan approval. The Delegated Official is not bound to follow the recommendations of the Site Plan Approval Officer in rendering a decision on the application.
