The Applicant is requesting an amendment to Zoning By-law 8600 to allow the expansion of the existing Automobile Sales Lot (a legal non-conforming use), currently located on 4200 Tecumseh Road East, onto a parcel municipally known as 1986 Rossini Boulevard and to allow an automobile sales lot as a legal permitted use over the entire subject lands.

The Applicant intends to demolish the existing office building (constructed circa 1955) and single unit dwelling and detached garage and construct a new two storey office building. Boulevards along Bernard and Rossini are to be restored. The existing driveway to Bernard is to remain. Along Rossini, the driveway for 1986 Rossini will be improved and utilized as the entrance on the west side of the subject lands. No access to Tecumseh Road East is proposed. The proposed development is subject to Site Plan Control.

The east-west alley between the two lots is open. The applicant intends to close and acquire the alley and incorporate it into the proposed development.
