The applicant is requesting an amendment to Zoning By-law 8600 for the lands located on the south side of Brodhead Street, east of Mercer Street, abutting the north/south alley between Erie Street East and Brodhead Sreet, described as Lot 25, Block H, on Registered Plan 131. The applicant requests to change the zoning of the subject land by adding a public parking area as additional permitted use on the subject land.

The subject land is designated Low Profile Mixed Use in the Land Use Schedule E: City Centre Planning District, Official Plan (OP) Volume 1 and zoned Residential District 1.3 (RD1.3) by Zoning By-law 8600.

The applicant wants to construct a surface parking area on the subject land in order to provide spill-over parking for the businesses located at 400 Erie Street (also owned by the applicant).
