The applicant is requesting an amendment to Zoning By-law 8600 to create a site specific provision that would permit the construction of a 150 unit, 12 storey residential building. The units will be comprised of one, two, and three bedroom apartments.  As well, the ground floor of the building will include offices for Community Living Services and Hiatus House.

The site is currently designated Residential in the City of Windsor Official Plan and is zoned to permit the proposed multiple dwelling use. The proposed development does not comply with the regulations of the current zone category.  Therefore an amendment to Zoning By-law 8600 is required.
