New Tennis and Pickleball Courts at
Fontainebleu, Goldenwood, and Wilson Parks
Windsor City Council has approved the installation of new modern tennis and pickleball facilities in Fontainebleu, Goldenwood, and Wilson parks. Construction of the new courts will start in the winter of 2023 and take approximately three months to complete with the goal of having them open for play by summer of 2023.
We want your feedback!
Please take a few minutes to fill out the surveys for each of Fontainebleau Park, Goldenwood Park, and/or Wilson Park to let us know which of the following court layout options you'd like to see in each of the three locations, how often you use the courts, what your colour preferences are, etc. Depending on survey results, the new court facilities will be constructed as one of the following:
- Option One: Two tennis courts, with an overlay of pickleball court lines.
- Option Two: One dedicated tennis court and four dedicated pickleball courts.
- Option Three: Eight dedicated pickleball courts

The new tennis and pickleball courts, all with specialized surfacing and colour coating, will be installed over a three-month construction period. There will also be new court access points created, which can be seen in the example layouts shown below, and at the following links for Fontainebleau Park, Goldenwood Park, and Wilson Park. New fencing will be erected as well as wind and noise-blocking mesh. A new meeting and rest area will be created off court, and better drainage will be installed around the entire area.

In the meantime, tennis and pickleball fans do have other options as weather permits and next court season continues; just visit the City of Windsor tennis page for details.
