2018 Ontario Renovates Program for Homeowners

The Federal and Provincial governments partnered to fund the Ontario Renovates Program for Homeowners in Windsor and Essex County in 2018.  The City of Windsor is the delivery agent for the program in Windsor and Essex County. The Program expires when program funds are depleted or December 7, 2018, whichever occurs first.

Funding is provided in the form of a 10 year forgivable loan to a homeowner occupant based on the cost of approved eligible work items. For accessibility repairs, the first $5,000 in funding will be in the form of a grant and not part of the forgivable loan. Income, asset and maximum loan criteria applies. How to obtain an application?

There are two options available to obtain an application form for the 2018 Ontario Renovates Program for Homeowners:

  1. Click the “Download Application” link below, complete application form, print, sign and submit, along with all other required documentation requested, to the address below.

  2. Click the “Request for Application” link below, complete and submit online. An application package will be mailed to the address provided within 3 to 5 business days.

For quicker processing it is recommended to download an application.

Applications cannot be picked up at City Hall or 400 City Hall Square East

Where do I submit a completed application?

Completed applications with all required information, document and verification attachments must be returned to:
