Join the City of Windsor who has partnered with Caesars Windsor Code Green and EnWin to celebrate Earth Hour. Come celebrate at Charles Clark Square, Saturday March 24, 2018. Earth Hour takes place from 8:30pm - 9:30pm.

City approves Sustainable Purchasing Policy and Guide
The Sustainable Purchasing Guide is full of information about what to ask for when trying to find environmentally friendly products at home or at work! It also provides information on which environmental certifications to look for and includes products in a number of categories, including cleaning products, furniture, office supplies, landscaping and even food.
Council approves municipal Community Garden Policy

In October 2012 Windsor City Council approved the Green the City Fleet Manual.
The guiding principle in this green fleet plan is to improve fuel efficiency, which will reduce air emissions and fuel costs. The actions selected for inclusion in the green fleet plan shall guide the City's fleet decisions to ensure the environment is considered in all decisions made.
