SB-12 News Update
December 31, 2016:
All residential building permit applications submitted after December 31, 2016 need to follow the new energy guidelines identified in Chapter 3 of Supplementary Standard SB-12 “Energy Efficiency for Housing” as amended on July 7, 2016.

Important Notice:
Due to the upcoming changes to the SB-12 guidelines, all residential building permit applications submitted prior to January 1, 2017 must comply with the items identified below; otherwise they will be deemed incomplete and rejected.
Building permits must be paid for and issued prior to April 1, 2017.
Incomplete building permit applications will not be accepted. All applications must include the following as a minimum:
Applicants submitting more than five (5) building permit applications must provide a priority list for review. Any cause for re-submission of drawings after December 31, 2016 will be considered a new application and must therefore follow the amended SB-12 guidelines.
