Day Camps

The Department of Recreation & Culture offers daily camp on P.A. Days throughout the year, as well as week-long holiday, March Break and summer camps. Your children are in good hands with City of Windsor Day Camp staff. Each of our camps are under the direction of a Day Camp Coordinator. These individuals have a passion for developing and implementing recreation programs for children and youth. In addition, each group of campers will have dedicated day camp counsellors. Counsellors are certified in SFA/CPR C, Epi-pen trained, have High Five Principals of Healthy Child Development and have specialized training in recreation, programming, safety and emergency procedures, group dynamics, and positive behaviour management. Our leaders are energetic and dedicated to providing participants with a fun, safe and memorable experience at camp. Day camp counsellors are on duty from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Programmed activities begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m.

Fees: $31/day or $143/week

Specialty Camps

Take this opportunity to enroll your camper in a week-long specialized camp that sparks their interest while they still get the opportunity to enjoy all the benefits of our regular summer day camp. Campers registered in a specialty camp begin their adventure in the morning and then join in with our regular camp for all the scheduled afternoon activities (some specialty camps are full day and may not join regular camp).

Fees: varies by program based on material fee.
