Minimum Qualifications (non negotiable):

The right candidate will have experience in sewing a wide range of clothing seams and finishes quickly and proficiently, working with fine clothing or intricate beading and lacework, customer service, and a great attention to detail. Patterning and draping skills are beneficial for custom-built modifications. Every gown requires different solutions, so problem-solving skills are a must.  Double-checking your own work for errors or things that have been missed is essential.  Candidate must be able to communicate well in english, a second language is an asset.

Hours vary: 30+ hours during peak season (March-October), with reduced hours in the off season (November-February).  

 Starting wage is $15.50/hour with the potential for a raise based on quality and productivity at 3 and 6  months.

 On bus route.

Store Hours: 

Mon-Tues 12-8

Wed-Thurs 10-6

Fri 12-6

(Closed weekends)

Job Description:

We are a busy bridal alterations boutique seeking an experienced seamstress. 

Your main duties include conducting fittings and making alterations to the gown or other garment accordingly.  Additional duties include answering the phone, booking appointments, cleaning and sanitization according to COVID policies, inputting and generating quotes for customers on a computer, sales of accessories, receiving payment for goods and services.
