Minimum Qualifications (non negotiable):

A successful candidate will have:​

  • A College diploma or University Degree from a business program and at least five years of direct bookkeeping or public accounting experience.
  • Proven technical skills using Quick Books (online), Sage Accounting (online) and the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • A self-motivated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • This position is meant for non CPA stream candidates.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and executing efficient compilation and bookkeeping engagements, including a very good understanding of HST, payroll administration and foreign exchange.
  • Assisting with client relationships which includes contacting clients directly for the purpose of answering questions, identifying requirements and anticipating and resolving problems.
  • Preparing corporate and personal tax returns using related software programs.
