St. Rose Stormwater Pumping Station Municipal Class Environmental Assessment
The City of Windsor (City) is undertaking a Schedule 'C' Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) for the proposed St. Rose pumping station and associated storm sewers. The City adopted its Sewer and Coastal Flood Protection Master Plan (SMP) in 2020. The SMP identified the need for a new stormwater pumping station and new storm sewer outlet to the Detroit River in the St. Rose area. The SMP has been completed in accordance with phases 1 and 2 of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process.
Upon completion of the SMP, projects identified as Schedule A, A+ and B are approved for implementation and construction. The requirements in the SMP for a new St. Rose pumping station and storm sewers are identified as a Schedule C project. Hence, the goal of this project is to complete phases 3 and 4 of the Class EA process. This will confirm the location of the St. Rose pumping station and lay out the preferred design for the pumping station and connecting storm sewers. This EA is tentatively scheduled to be completed by November 2022.

Public Information Centre (PIC) No. 1
The City is hosting a Public Information Centre (PIC) to present the evaluation of site alternatives for the St. Rose Pumping Station and is inviting area residents and interested persons to participate in the PIC and provide feedback. The PIC will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, (3:00 to 7:00 p.m.) at the WFCU Centre (Second Floor - Michigan Hall), 8787 McHugh Street, Windsor, Ontario.
Following the PIC, comments are invited and will be received until March 17, 2022.

Phase 3: Technical Memorandum
Public Information Centre (PIC) No. 2
The City is hosting a second PIC to present the design concept alternatives for the St. Rose Pumping Station and is inviting area residents and interested persons to participate in the PIC and provide feedback. The PIC was held on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at the WFCU Centre, 8787 McHugh Street, Windsor, Ontario.
Following the PIC, comments are invited and will be received until July 13, 2022.
