Applicant Requirements:

  • Application - Tow Truck (Owner/Driver/Vehicle)
  • Business Ownership Declaration
  • (2) pieces of government-issued identification including one photo I.D. as well as one I.D. demonstrating proof of status in Canada (e.g. birth certificate, Canadian passport, Canadian citizenship card, permanent resident card, work permit, etc.)
  • Certificate of Incorporation, if applicable
  • Master Business Licence, if applicable​
  • Police Records Check, if also acting as driver (original, not more than 30 days old)
  • Copy of ownership for all vehicles
  • Valid Safety Standards Certificate on all vehicles
  • Certificate of insurance - 2 million dollar minimum liability
  • Schedule of rates charged

  • Current Ontario Driver Licence - "Class-G"
