Windsor City Councillors to Host Ward Meetings

The City of Windsor invites you to join us for a ward meeting held by your City Councillor this October and November. Come and share your thoughts on neighbourhood issues that are important to your ward.

This year’s first week of ward meetings begins on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, with Councillor Gary Kaschak in Ward 8, followed on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, with Councillor Mark McKenzie in Ward 4. See chart below for the complete 2023 schedule.

Each City Councillor will be joined by Mayor Drew Dilkens and members of City administration, and while the focus will be on the ward hosting each meeting, all are welcome to attend. We also encourage anyone who cannot attend but would like to have their say to call 311, Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or visit CityWindsor.ca/CustomerService for more ways to reach us.

Representatives from the Finance Department will be on hand as well to help residents take advantage of our Budget Balancing Simulation, Tax Receipt Generator and Prioritize engagement tools. Staff will be happy to explain the tools and help residents input their priorities for the upcoming budget process. These tools help keep the community informed and educated on where their property taxes are being spent, and they provide an excellent opportunity for residents to let us know what their spending priorities are while also experiencing the careful considerations required to ensure our budget remains balanced.
