Transit Windsor Collective Agreement Endorsed by City Council

The City of Windsor is pleased to announce that the Transit Windsor Board of Directors and Windsor City Council have both unanimously endorsed the collective agreement negotiated between Amalgamated Transit Union Local 616 and Transit Windsor.

“After a lot of hard work by the negotiating committee, we’re very happy to have come to a satisfactory collective agreement,” said Commissioner of Infrastructure Services (Acting) Mark Winterton. “Providing this essential service is a top priority for the City of Windsor, and we are pleased that the bargaining units were able to reach an agreement without any disruption to transit operations.”

No details of the contract are being released at this time.
