Snow and Snow Angels

City of Windsor crews are on standby with snowfall this afternoon and overnight. With temperatures remaining above zero until early morning, very little accumulation is expected on area roadways.

Motorists are reminded to please drive according to the conditions as they arise, and be prepared for the unexpected, as they can change and worsen quickly.

Snow Angels Recognition

We don’t anticipate needing our snow angels for this event, but we are happy to share the winning angel from our pool of volunteers this year. Congratulations to Therese Morand who was randomly selected for the work done this winter and who will receive a new tablet. Two other angels, Peter Polak Junior and Sodiq Shofoluwe, are the winners of $50 gift cards as well.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers. We encourage all residents to get involved with this important neighbour-helping-neighbour initiative. It’s never too late or too early to get involved, so sign up as a snow angel today.
