Public Information Centre on Little River Channel Corridor Environmental Assessment

An upcoming public information centre (PIC) will discuss the City’s plans to create a more sustainable Little River Channel Corridor while enhancing its ecological and aesthetic functions.

The City of Windsor has initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment for the preliminary study and design for the Little River Channel Corridor between the VIA Rail tracks southerly to its crossing under Lauzon Road.

Information regarding this environmental assessment (EA) can be found on the City’s website (CityWindsor.ca) on the project web page.

Comments can be provided at the PIC in person, or afterwards until April 26, 2023, to the project lead at tgraziano@citywindsor.ca and/or the consultant at ed@watersedge-est.ca via email.

Upon completion of the study, an environmental study report (ESR) will be prepared and made public of further opportunities for public input.
